Our vertical edging mill is special auxiliary rolling equipment matched with hot strip and narrow strip production lines, mounted upstream of horizontal rolling stands. It extrudes both side edges of steel strip independently to precisely lock strip width, optimize edge profile and keep stable centerline during continuous rolling. This edging equipment effectively suppresses edge cracking defects and cuts side trimming waste, making it an indispensable unit for manufacturing neat, straight strip edges before final coiling. Dedicated for hot strip & narrow strip lines: Accurately calibrates strip width before coiling process. Vertical roll structural design: Applies extrusion force only on strip side edges without altering strip thickness. High-precision width control: Finished strip width tolerance reaches ±0.5mm. Material cost saving: Restrains edge cracking and reduces side trimming loss by 2%–3%. Flexible adjustment system: Optional hydraulic or manual screw-down structure, simple daily maintenance for local workers. Customizable roll sizes: Standard roll diameter Φ300–Φ600mm, tailor-made according to target strip width. Applicable strip width range: Fits strip blanks from 100mm to 650mm wide.
