User and Operating Instructions for Haffman Groove Rolling Mill

Haffman grooves find extensive applications in various fields such as metallurgy, construction, power, railways, nuclear reactors, etc. They are used in applications like anchoring for building curtain wall embedded parts, industrial plant construction, bridge and tunnel pipeline supports, and fastener matching connections. The rolling process for Haffman grooves is more complex than conventional rolling, and it is generally performed through continuous hot rolling using a transverse rolling mill. Since the rolling rolls and bearings are subject to force on one side in a transverse rolling mill, it presents operational challenges. I. Pre-start Check of the Rolling Mill

Check if there are any rolled products inside the rolling mill; if so, they must be cleared.

Inspect whether there is an oil shortage in the rolling mill bearings, hydraulic unit oil tank, and dust collector gearbox.

Verify if all electrical instruments are at zero, and check the integrity of all contact signals and emergency switches.

Check for foreign objects or misalignment on the belts and the condition of belt joints.

Lubrication and all related work must be performed after the rolling mill is stopped.

Basic Technical Requirements for Haffman Groove Embedded Parts:

Both C-shaped steel and I-beams are hot-rolled.

Material: Q235.

Haffman groove section dimensions: 80×50×25, product length 200mm-800mm (customizable based on requirements).

Surface hot-dip galvanizing treatment with a zinc layer thickness not less than 55μm.

Basic Technical Requirements for Hot-forged T-bolts:

Made of 45# steel, forged manufacturing, and quenched and tempered.

T-bolt tensile resistance to C-groove embedded parts is not less than 70KN.

Threads comply with GB196 and GB197 standards.

Surface galvanization passivation treatment with a galvanized thickness not less than 15μm.
