Rolling steel cannot be separated from auxiliary equipment in the rolling mill

The production line of a rolling mill is a vast system, and the equipment is capable of completing the entire steel rolling process. There is a wide variety of auxiliary equipment, and as the mechanization level in the workshop increases, the proportion of auxiliary equipment to the total weight of the workshop's mechanical equipment also increases.

With the rapid development of the steel rolling industry, the continuous expansion of steel varieties, increased production, higher rolling speeds, and greater rolling loads, the gear transmission system of rolling mills requires sufficient carrying capacity. This means it needs to have high strength, high precision, high durability, and high reliability.

Rolling mills use equipment made of special materials with good wear resistance, stable performance, and the ability to operate under high loads. This equipment is primarily designed for the steel batching process. A pusher machine is used to push the billet into the heating furnace for impact heating, and the rolling mill pushes the heated billet to the discharge port or out of the heating furnace.

Rolling is a continuous and uninterrupted operation, with steel strips moving rapidly on the roller bed. Rolling mill equipment has a high degree of automation and efficiency. The steel ingot coming out of the furnace can also become a steel plate, but it needs to go through heating and rough rolling before being sent to hot rolling steel equipment.

To roll steel plates, they need to go through scale removal and rough rolling, enter precision rolling mill equipment through the roller bed, and be equipped with speed measuring rollers and flying shears in front of the machine to cut off the head of the plate. The thickness of the steel rail after hot rolling is generally a few millimeters. If thinner steel plates are required, they need to go through cold rolling mill equipment. All of these processes are completed with the help of heavy-duty auxiliary equipment in the rolling mill.
