A rolling mill is a type of equipment used for rolling different workpieces, and its operation needs to meet certain basic conditions for processing and shaping. Due to the diversity of structural components in rolling mills, assembly is a crucial aspect. In the axial adjustment mechanism of the rolling mill, it is mainly connected by the mutual connection of the shaft sleeve and universal joint. Therefore, external axial adjustment is carried out. Moreover, the pressing nut and spherical pressing nut, which are mostly connected with screw and bearing seat, prevent the nut from rotating with the bearing seat. However, when the tie rod starts to operate, the pressing nut may drive the lifting of the bearing seat, ultimately meeting the adjustment requirements of the roll gap.

Another aspect is the assembly of the rolling mill in the roll system, which primarily involves the use of bearings. Although short cylindrical bearings have a relatively long lifespan and a large load-bearing capacity, they cannot withstand axial forces because double-row angular contact bearings are used. Moreover, due to the possibility of detachment of the outer ring in the four-row short cylindrical bearing, the inner rings can be installed on the roll necks, and the outer rings can be installed inside the bearing seats.

Looking at the entire assembly process of the rolling mill, the bearings and bearing seats in the rolling mill are subjected to relatively good force conditions. By directly abandoning the concentrated load on the pressing screws, the service life of the bearings in the rolling mill is effectively increased.
